Leonardo Dias, M.B.A. is a partner of CÉOS Consulting and a Managing Director of Little Rock Overseas LLC. Previously, Mr. Dias has acted as the Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer for CEMAR and Equatorial Energia. Mr. Dias has been working in the area of finance since 1997 and has extensive experience in financial control, strategic planning, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Mr. Dias has worked for more than 12 years in the energy and telecommunications industries of listed companies in Brazil. Mr. Dias holds a B.Sc. in Economics from University of Brasília and an M.B.A. in International Finance from the School of Business and Public Management – The George Washington University.

Tom Kraft, Ph.D., M.B.A. is the Director of Entrepreneurship for the Rice Alliance at the Rice University Jesse H. Jones School of Business, and he has over 40 years of experience in medical and clinical devices, and biosciences and bioengineering start-ups. Prior to joining Rice, he was Director of Client Services at the Houston Technology Center. Before that, Dr. Kraft was a principal designer and consultant for an automated drug packaging and dispensing system for acute and sub acute patients. Dr. Kraft has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Rice University.

Bill B. Crow, M.S. recently joined the Houston Technology Center (HTC) as an entrepreneur-in-residence focusing on nanotechnology after retiring as Chief of Staff for Congressman John Culberson, Texas CD #7. Mr. Crow focused on the Congressman’s key goals in traffic congestion reduction, nanohealth and nanoenergy for 5 years after retiring from 42 years in the private sector. Mr. Crow has extensive experience with start-ups, small companies as well as major corporations after having served several senior executive positions with companies such as Exxon, Seismic Computing Corp., Swanson & Crow, Satellite Position Corp., GPS Technology Corp., and the Tobin Group of Companies. Mr. Crow received his B.S. in Geological Engineering and a M.S. in Geophysics from the University of Kansas.

William Altman, M.B.A. is the President & CEO of CorrInova, Inc. an innovative device-based therapies company for the treatment of congestive heart failure.  Mr. Altman is a senior healthcare executive with over 20 years experience in private equity, management consulting and C-level and Board level management of both public and private companies. Prior to CorrInova he helped build senior management teams as Senior Client Partner in the Houston office of Korn/Ferry International and prior to that served as President & CEO of Kardia Therapeutics. Mr. Altman was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Deborah Mansfield, M.B.A. is the Director of Acceleration for the Life Sciences at the Houston Technology Center, providing strategic and tactical management, as well as investment-related advice to Houston-area early stage companies developing innovative technologies applied in the life sciences industry. Ms. Mansfield has an extensive background in business development, management, non-equity funding, entrepreneurship, compliance, and research in the life sciences sector. She has provided operations support to the Governor’s Council on Science and Biotechnology Development and currently acts as associate director for the Gulf Coast Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization, Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Prior to joining HTC, Deborah served in a number of management and research roles at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is an active advisory board member for ACCION Texas, Lone Star College-Montgomery Biotechnology Institute, University of Houston Biotechnology Industrial Advisory Committee, Nurtured by Design, Laser Tissue Welding, Inc., Fairway Medical Technologies, Inc. and Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship, as well as, is in leadership roles for the Bio/Medical Technology Club of Houston and Gulf Coast Medical Device Manufactures. Ms. Mansfield holds a Masters of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University, MS from Pennsylvania State University, and BS from California State University of Pennsylvania.
